The Magic - by Rhonda Byrne - Day 2

The Magic - by Rhonda Byrne - Day 2

Yesterday, I told you guys about my day 1 and The Magic.  Well today, I wanted to share my Day 2 with you guys and what I am grateful for.

I went and purchased me a composition book today that will serve as my Gratitude book that I will write the 10 things that I am grateful for each day.

In addition, I found my gratitude rock in my backyard.  My husband likes to collect rocks when we are at the beach and bring them home to the backyard and this is the one I picked.  Can you see it?  Its on the book.  Its uniquely shaped and has unique ridges on it and I thought that it fit my personality better than a smooth stone with no character. :)

So, without further adieu, here's what im grateful for today:

1) My sisters - both blood sisters and my bestfriends, because they all love me and support me in different ways.
2) Technology - because it allows us to communicate, learn, work and achieve our goals.
3) Safe traveling mercies on the highways and  biways - this week the hubby and I have put in major miles on the road.  Without safe traveling mercies and our guardian angels protected us something bad could have happened.
4) cuddle and conversation time with my hubby - because it allows us interact and remain close to each other.
5) Shelter - because I have a nice and comfortable home.
6) Crablegs - because they have always been my reward at the end of a long week.
7) My current, past & prospective clients - because I get to help them and in turn it helps me.
8) Being able to pay my light bill today because I have power in my house to run my TV, AC, stove, hot water heater, electronics etc...
9) Janet and Nadia - because they help me out in my business tremendously.
10) I am grateful that my hair is growing because my self-esteem is better.

So those are the 10 things that I am grateful for today (well i'm grateful for more than 10 but I limited it to 10 things).  As you can see, they dont have to be super deep philosophical things, just things that you are grateful for.

I hope you guys had a magical day today! I sure did!

Tatiana

The Magic - by Rhonda Byrne

The Magic - By Rhonda Byrne

Two days ago my girlfriend suggested that I read The Magic - By Rhonda Byrne and she even offered me to use her Amazon Prime account so that i could receive it immediately because she was starting to see great things in her life -- and she isnt even finished with the book yet.  Since we are both practicing the Law of Attraction I decided why not order it.  I actually liked Rhonda Byrne's audiobook of The Power so it was natural for me to be curious about The Magic.

So it came in the mail today and it had a few introductory chapters and then explains that the remainder of the book should be read over 28 days.  So I read day one and the day one assignment was to write down 10 things that you currently have that you are grateful for and the reason why you are grateful for it. So, in an effort to have some accountability, I wanted to share my day 1 assignment with you all.

Day 1 - May 1, 2014

Today I am grateful for:

1) My life - because without life - I would not be here.
2) I am grateful that my friend suggested I purchase this book - The Magic  - because it will allow me to have a deeper connection to GOD by teaching me how to show my gratitude.
3) I am blessed to have a wonderful husband who is always concerned about my safety and comfort.  I am blessed by this because I feel loved.
4) My vision - both physical and non-physical.  I am grateful for physical vision because I have experienced poor vision in the past and I love being able to see the things that GOD created.   I am thankful for non-physical vision because it is GOD leading me down the correct path.
5) I am thankful for being a licensed attorney because it allows me to help people and make money as well.
6) I am thankful for my business because I love being self-employed and helping people.
7) I am thankful for being able to get my car washed today and the oil changed because now my car runs better and looks great.
8) I am thankful that my mom is cancer free because I love my mom and need her in my life.
9) I am thankful that my dad is easy to talk to because I feel like I can talk to him without judgment.
10) I am thankful that my dog ginger is alive because she is a great companion and shows agape non-conditional love. (exactly when I was writing this, she decided to let a fart out, lol - but I still love her)

After you are done writing the things that you are grateful for, you are supposed to read them again and say "thank you, thank you, thank you" and really feel it and mean it.  So this books is going to help me have a better ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE :)

Do you practice the 11 universal laws of attraction?  Do you believe in the law of attraction?  Have you read The Magic or The Power?  Share your comments below, i'd love to hear from you.

p.s. I'm also thankful for my blog readers!

Killing Fibroids Naturally

DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT A DOCTOR, so this is only for your entertainment purposes.

So I found out that I had fibroids when I was having a Miscarriage on New Years Eve.  (I know...I have a lot to update you guys on).  I was told that I have several fibroids with the largest one being 6 cm and they are intramural.

Since then, I have gone to Google University to determine how I am going to kill these jokers naturally.  I dont particularly want to have the surgery - because everywhere I read, is that they come back....mainly because the underlying reason for them has not been addressed.

Fibroids are generally a "symptom" of your body being out of wack due to too much estrogens. Your liver is supposed to help get rid of excess hormones such as estrogens.  According to Traditional Chinese Medicine - I have cold stagnant liver qi.  So therefore, my liver is not doing a great job of getting rid of these excess hormones.  We come into contact with excess hormones all the time from environmental factors (the air, cleaning products, beauty products etc) as well as your own body producing these hormones.

So what is my game plan?  1)Reduce the amount of excess hormones that I can (which you cant completely remove all of them, because I dont have control over external factors), 2) get my liver back to working efficiently 3) normalize my hormones and 4) use supplements to fight the existing fibroids.

1) Reduce the amount of excess hormones that I can
I am gradually moving towards more all natural products.  That means everything that I eat, clean with, and put on my body or in my home.  There are certain foods that I am not supposed to eat, and of course those are the things that we love.... dairy, pork, beef, cold foods/drinks, salad etc....I'm not 100% perfect with this, but i'm a work in progress.  I am trying to use only all natural cleaning products in my home (all purpose cleaner, laundry detergent, body wash, etc.)  So that means cutting out the el cheapo air fresheners and candles and using more scents that combine essential oils.  We have to be so careful with what we breathe... I have not totally converted over everything yet, because that gets expensive, and hubby still keeps buying the bad stuff (unknowingly).  But we are gradually working on it.

2) Get my liver back to working efficiently
You have to cleanse the liver to get it back working optimally.  I am cleansing my liver by juicing, my TCM supplements and liver cleansing tea (with of course Milk Thistle in it)  Since I have been doing this, I have noticed that my body no longer feels cold all the time like it used to.

3) Normalize my hormones
I am normalizing my hormones by taking the supplement DIM along with avoiding extra hormones in meat like Beef and Pork (and trying to eat organic chicken)

4) Using supplements to fight the existing fibroids.
I have researched online for hours for the best supplements for me to take.  I have settled on the TCM Cinnamon & Hoelen and also Natures Fibroid Control and also the DIM.

The Nature's Fibroid control helps with balancing my hormones and also has enzymes to help kill the fibroid.

The Cinnamon & Hoelen helps to heat up my liver and also helps to destroy the fibroids.

Since I have been following this regimen (almost 2 months), My periods are bright red and have few clots and pain associated with it.  I dont get up to pee as often in the middle of the night (I think the Fibroids used to be pushing against my bladder or something).  So I think that this is working.

I will keep you guys updated on my progress of fighting these fibroids.  I actually had a doctor appointment yesterday to determine whats going on with these fibroids (since I havent seen anyone about them since NYE), but he didnt do an ultrasound (major bummer)

Anyways,  If you have any questions regarding anything that i'm doing, feel free to leave me a comment.

Love ya,

Tatiana

All Natural All Purpose Cleaner -- that you can buy - EarthScents

I have been on the hunt to find an All Natural All Purpose Cleaner...and I think i've found one.  I have tried the Trader Joes all purpose cleaner (doesnt smell good and I dont recognize some of the ingredients).  I've tried the J.R. Watkins, which smells delightful - but again some unrecognizable ingredients. And I've tried making my own vinegar all purpose cleaners (again, not so awesome smell)

However, I stumbled upon these Earth Scents All Purpose cleaners in Home Goods (I love you Homegoods I wish you were closer to my home).  The price was $3.99 each, which is a GREAT price.  It comes in several scents Lavender, Lemongrass, Orange Blossom, and Rosemary scents.  I'm not a big fan of Lavendar or Rosemary, so I chose the Lemongrass and Orange Blossom scents.

These are the ingredients:
Lemongrass Scent:  Purified water, tea trea oil, grapefruit seed extract, glycerin, and lemongrass therapeutic essential oil.
Orange Blossom Scent:  Purified water, tea tree oil, grapefruit seed extract, glycerin, and sweet orange therapeutic essential oil.

These seem to be great for cleaning up hard surfaces like counter tops and sinks, windows and mirrors and floors. It probably would be better to use their Terra Tough Scrub for cleaning bathrooms and much harder gunk. I would love to try out the Tought Scrub, but I didnt see this in Home Goods...and I just had to go to their website to see where I could purchase this in the future.... seems like Gelsons would be my best option.

But, I like this cleaner so far.

P.S. I was not paid to give this advertisment.  I paid for this product out of my pocket, and Earthscents has no idea who I even am, lol.

Love ya,

Tatiana,

TTC Haul - 6.1.13

Last night, I got the great idea that I would test in the a.m.  If I received a BFN (which I did - still have hope though its only 13 dpo), then I would go to my local asian herb specialist.  So before I went to bed, I googled a bunch of different herbs that would be great for fertility, increasing cervical mucous, increasing egg health etc....

My first stop this morning was at CVS to get some Pre-Seed lubricant.  Pre-Seed is supposed to be fertility friendly unlike normal lubricants that are hostile to sperm....and my objective of getting pregnant.

Then, I went to see the asian herb specialist, because I knew that he would be able to help me get all of the herbs I wanted and needed to help me on this TTC journey.  The receptionist greeted me and informed me that the consultation would be $40 and then he would put together a herbal combination for me along with an acupuncture schedule.  I kindly thanked him for this information and ran out of there so fast I nearly lost a flip flop.  Are you F-ing kidding me?  I'm trying to have a baby not get  pushed into bankruptcy.  (p.s... I know that to some of my readers this is just the cost of trying to achieve their dream - but I aint been trying that long)

Ok, i'm now sitting in the parking lot looking dazed and confused and I decide to go to my local natural foods store that i've never been to.  Insert heavenly bells here.  lol.  They had a lot of the herbs that I wanted to get.   So what did I end up buying:
1) Raspberry leaf
2) Milk Thistle
3) Nettle leaves
4) Dandelion roots
5) Red clover
6) Marshmallow root
7) Licorice root and
8) Castor oil

All of those herbs and the castor oil came to $17.  My kinda price!

I think that I am going to make 2 different kinda teas with them.  1 i'm going to make with all of the herbs and 2) I'm gonna make another batch mixing it with my Fertilitea that I purchased (minus the nettles and red raspberry leaf since they are already included)...  I say the 2 different kinds in case I dont like the taste of the first batch, I know I like the fertilitea and hopefully adding the extra stuff wont affect the taste.

Oh, I found this great site today after coming home (thank God not before for my wallets sake) where they list the different fertility herbs and how they can help with various issues (ex. PCOS, endometriosis, low libido, cervical mucous etc.)

So I think I should be good.  I also decided that I'm gonna try the Sperm Meets Egg Plan by Deanna Roy (the book is currently free on amazon kindle) if im not pregnant this cycle.

So to completely have everything I need, I will need some OPK's, but before I order those, I am gonna wait and see if AF arrives this upcoming week.

I will also continue with my pre-natals and maybe throw in an ashwaganda pill that I have laying around here somewhere.

Baby dust to us all!

May 2013 Curlbox

The May 2013 Curlbox contents were:
Motions - Radiating gloss  (approx $6.49 at walgreens)
Carols Daughter - Repairing Monoi Mask - 2 oz (guesstimating approx $8)
Lustrasilk - Curl Max Deep Penetrating Conditioner and (approx $6)
creme of nature - conditioner and shampoo samples (guesstimating approx $3)

I wanted to try to incorporate the May 2013 curlbox ingredients into today's wash day using my new regimen. So, I was at Target today and I found this Shea Moisture Co-Wash Conditioning Cleanser on clearance.  $8.99 when its normally $11.99. (they had a few other shea moisture products on clearance too - but I was already over budget after throwing the Alba Botanica shampoo/conditioner in my cart) So I used this to Co-wash my hair.

I believe that both of the conditioners that we received this month were protein, but i'm not 100% sure.  So after co-washing my hair, I then put the Lustrasilk Deep penetrating conditioner on my hair.  Like I said, I believed it to be a protein conditioner because of some of the ingredients (Amino acids, Keratin etc.), but protein conditioners normally make my hair hard, and this one didnt.  (maybe its a light protein?) So just in case it was a protein, I followed up with my favorite moisturizing deep conditioner - Elasta QP Soy Oyl.  While deep conditioning, I decided to watch a few youtube videos and decided that I would try to 2-strand twist with curlers my 9 months transitioning hair.  I followed the rest of my regimen and then began to try to style it.

I am NOT anywhere blessed in the hair styling department, but I figured I need to at least start TRYING to be able to do something with my hair.  But best believe, if its not looking right before church tomorrow, I am armed with my oh so cute wig.

When I take my 2 strand twists down tomorrow, I will use a lil bit of the Motions radiating gloss.  I'm not optimistic that it will look cute, knowing my abilities, but they say practice makes perfect, and so does a good wig lol.

Did you get a curl box?  Are you feeling the price increase to $25?  I'm guesstimating the products to be about $23-25 worth, so I think with shipping we got our moneys worth.... whatdaya think?

Feel free to comment guys!

xoxoxo,

Tatiana
